Someone has been posting signs on utility poles around town that urge people to vote NO on the ordinances later this week.   As explained at this link, http://www.cmpco.com/UsageAndSafety/electricalsafety/utilitypoles.html Central Maine Power considers signs on utility poles a safety hazard.  People who put them there are breaking the law and subject to a fine. No one should be advertising his or her opinion in an improper manner such as this one.

Please don't. It creates a safety hazard, and could lead to a fine of up to $100.00.
