HeartSong: A Soothing of Sorrows
Belfast — HeartSong offers A Soothing of Sorrows, an evening of a cappella music offered for comfort and connection, Thursday, April 27, at 7 p.m. in the Abbott Room of Belfast Library, 106 High St.
The program is aimed at anyone who has experienced a loss; the anguish of a broken relationship; the challenge of illness or injury; the death of a loved one; the loss of a job, a friend, a home; or is affected by current national/global uncertainty.
HeartSong is known for singing songs of comfort and peace for the dying, the infirm, and their families. This evening, however, it extends friendship through music for whatever grief the community carries, old or new. Everyone is invited to partake of songs and readings that honor their sorrow.
Light refreshments will be served following the program. For more information, call 841-1715.
