'Historic Antarctic Exploration' Talk at Penobscot Marine Museum

Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m., Buzz Scott, founder of OceansWide, will present his illustrated talk “Historic Antarctic Exploration — Shackleton, Scott and Amundsen” at Penobscot Marine Museum. Buzz will discuss the history of the heroic age of Antarctic exploration.
Buzz Scott was raised on Matinicus Island, and spent seven years with the United States Antarctic Program as a marine projects coordinator.
“Historic Antarctic Exploration – Shackleton, Scott and Amundsen” will be at Penobscot Marine Museum’s Stephen Phillips Memorial Library, 11 Church Street, Searsport.
