The HMS Bounty arrived in Belfast Thursday, Aug. 9. The ship will be docked in the Harbor until Sunday, Aug. 12.
Belfast — The HMS Bounty has arrived in Belfast as crews begin the process of constructing an access platform to the ship.
Tours are available on the Bounty Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Contact the Belfast Chamber of Commerce at 338-5900 or Our Town Belfast at 338-9100 for more information about tickets.

The Town has been real busy. Glad for all the downtown shops!! It was hard to even find a parking spot in the parking lots. Love it!!!!
As per previous Village Soup article, Bounty LLC, was seeking to not pay the standard docking fee for vessels over 60 feet. Does anyone know if they paid their fair share or not?
Tours 10-5 today as well.
The taxpayers was asked to fund the access to the ship and the taxpayer will now have to pay 10 dollars for access to the ship. What is the Chamber of Commerce's role other than to be contacted about tours?
