Our Lenten series, by Marcia McFee, was inspired by Amos, a prophet whose message is that God calls us to let "justice roll down like waters." Worship without justice is not acceptable, rather our songs and lives must move us to action on behalf of the oppressed. Through the powerful music of Mark Miller and the remembrance of baptism, this season continues to offer us reflection and renewed inspiration to let our voices be tuned to the heart of the Gospel-proclaiming God's love for all people. Throughout Lent, we have been asking ourselves who we are called to be in this world.  Who are God’s people called to be?  We invite you to join us for any, or all, of the Holy Week services listed below.  All are welcome!

Good Friday: 6 pm

Jesus' last day will be recalled with reflections on the many themes we have followed through Lent.  Music, short recollections, silence and remembrance of baptism using a pool alight with floating candles will emphasize the Lenten theme of "Roll Down, Justice".

Easter Sunrise Service: 6:30 am

Easter begins with a Sunrise Service entitled, "Tombs and Cocoons".  This service was inspired by Marcia McFee and the Worship Design Studio.  A butterfly will emerge from its chrysalis to recall Jesus' miraculous return to life.

Easter Breakfast: Following Sunrise Service

The Sunrise Service will be followed by a free pancake breakfast.  Donations accepted!

Adult Church School-Easter: 9 am

We will conclude our exploration of the place of justice in Christian life with a last look at the words of the prophet Amos.

Easter Worship: 10:30 am

We will bring our series to a close, reaffirming that all people are included in God's family and the importance of claiming a future with justice that Jesus' resurrection promises!
