Become a Volunteer Peer Educator: Become a MOB Coach
As we age, we may experience a fear of falling and restrict our activities. The Matter of Balance (MOB) program emphasizes practical strategies to reduce this fear and increase activity levels. If you are interested in helping older adults improve their quality of life, volunteering as a “Matter of Balance Coach” is a proven, effective and rewarding way to make a difference. MOB graduates partner with Spectrum Generations to lead MOB seminars in the local community. Just attend the two, 4-hour training sessions on October 21 and 22, 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM to become an MOB coach. FMI call Marianne Pinkham, 563-1363 or Tina DeRaps, 800-282-0764, ext. 1657.
