Come take the winter chill away with the warming, savory spices of India cuisine, nestled in the soft candle-lit dining space of the Monroe Church, in the company of old and new friends. Your savory experience will begin with chana masala, a hearty soup with chickpeas, tomato and onions, followed by an apple-lime-peanut slaw salad. The entrée is chicken in a cashew nut sauce, served over white basmati rice with two chutney sauces (green apple with ginger and cranberry) and homemade naan bread. Dessert is a rich rice pudding.
