Islesboro — The Islesboro Department of Public Safety reported the following activity from May 6 to May 22.
Officer Nickolas Von Husen responded to an alarm activation on Main Road.
Von Husen responded to an information complaint.
Von Husen responded to a 911 disconnect on Main Road. The call was a misdial and there was not an emergency.
Von Husen responded to Meadow Pond Road for a report of gunshots. An investigation determined fireworks were being set off on Main Road.
Von Husen responded to a motor vehicle complaint on Ferry Road. Meghan Delaney, 27, of Islesboro, was summoned for driving to endanger and issued a ticket for improper passing.
Von Husen responded to Ruthie James Road for an animal complaint.
Public Safety Director Fred Porter assisted the Islesboro Fire Department at the scene of a grass fire on Meadow Pond Road.
Porter received an animal complaint on Marshall Cove Road. A warning was given to the owner of dogs at large.
Porter assisted the Islesboro Fire Department with traffic control at the intersection of Mill Creek Road, Ferry Road and West Bay Road during a structure fire.
Porter conducted a property check on two properties at Wood Lane as a result of a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. The properties were found to be secure.
