Islesboro resident searching for missing dog

Islesboro — Islesboro police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a dog that went missing the evening of Oct. 13.

The dog, a friendly eight-year-old King Charles Spaniel named Eddie, was reported missing from his Billy Shore Road home at about 9 p.m. on Oct. 13, according to information provided by the Islesboro Department of Public Safety.

Eddie is not wearing his collar and needs to return home because he requires medication for seizures. As of 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, Eddie's owner was looking to organize a group of volunteers to search for the dog.
