Jan 24, 2013
“Surface Expansion” is among the sacred geometry tarot paintings of Katenia Keller on view at her Square the Circle Gallery in Belfast.

Belfast — Katenia Keller, artist and author of “Pythias Sacred Geometry Tarot,” will speak about her interpretation of the tarot system through sacred geometry symbolism Sunday, Feb. 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Square the Circle Gallery, 137 High St. (second floor).

The tarot system divides elements of the psyche into recognizable parts. Sacred geometry studies ratios, proportions and spatial order of the parts of the whole. This fusion of two fields of study have provided the artist with an understanding of the unfolding patterns of life forms; and the consciousness that connects the parts of the whole.

Seventy-eight paintings by Keller, the result of five years of studies by the Freedom artist, are on view at Square the Circle Gallery; For more information, call 382-6040.

Admission to the talk is $13, $10 for Jung Center members. On Sunday, Feb. 10, from 1 to 3 p.m., Keller will make her presentation at the CG Jung Center, 183 Park Row, Brunswick; admission there will be $7, $5 for Jung Center members.
