On Friday Gabe, Sara, Katie, David and I went down to Milbridge to Gabe's home. We spent the night in a tent, and had fun until it rained. Oh well, I was on the downside so I got the water that managed to leak in. But I slept on the dry half of my sleeping bag and mattress. HaHa! I don't know what this crazy grammie will do next. We visited Randy, April, and Myrek Norton Friday and Saturday. We enjoyed a big BBQ Saturday with 50 other folks. A good time was had by all. The kids managed to get in the mud flats, yeah real nice going kids. Everyone had lobsters, clams and all from the lobstermen, and other goodies. We really had a good time as they had a bounce house, and cotton candy machine for the kids to enjoy.

Until next week,
It has started to get cooler days and nights now I have noticed. I am still enjoying my cucumber plants and hope we don't get a frost here. Friends of mine have been fishing. The gardens are producing real well. The Farm Stands seem to be rather busy which is a good thing. My tomatoes hate to ripen off. Some people are having those pesky tomato worms in the gardens. Boy they are a scary sight. Take care, enjoy the fresh veggies, they soon will be a thing of the past. New Beat Farm is always busy in their gardens working and harvesting. The Bridge work at Knox Stream has been completed. I haven't checked it out since they poured the grout on the rocks. They have a nice fishway. It will help with erosion control. Smile!!
