The Book we Are Waiting For...

Tena Keller's book, My Journey-A story About My " Crazy Life " ..has been printed. It is not ready for us to purchase yet. Her daughter, Kathy Cunningham will be making a list of those interested, and will let us know where and when we might be able to get it. I for one, cannot hardly wait. This book is by Arthena Taylor Keller, her name of course. I know it will be very interesting to read, and is about her farming life, teaching in the schools locally. She had so many students that simply adored her. Soon, we hope to hear it is ready for us.If you are in Belfast, stop by Harbor Hill to see Tena, she loves company.

If you are looking for someone to take photos for you, call Rebecca Bryant at 356-1989 or 382-6700. She does a real nice job. She has coasters at Freedom G as well that she sells.

Friendly  Callers Program

This program is just a daily call in program that you set up to assure that you are doing ok. If you live alone, 65 and over, call 338-2040 or 1-800-660-3398 to sign up, and then you get to call every day, letting them know you are fine or not. This is very good for someone living alone that has no one to check on them every day. I had never heard of it.

Now that's a subject I don't care to hear...Icy roads, people off the road, hitting the guardrails, can't make the hills, so slippery. Not a place to be out on Saturday night as I type this up.

I am going to stop here, and add on as I hear anything to add to this column. For some reason my news keep flying off this site, and I wish I knew where it goes to, to retrieve it back.

Be careful traveling  this weekend the roads are not good. We got ice. Some people have been stranded trying to come from Waterville to Unity area, and beyond because of the icy roads. Some even ran into the plow I am told.  Stay tuned....

Happy Birthday

I am wishing little Miss Kami Joy a "Very Happy 6th Birthday" !!! She sure is a sweetie, and she is even learning to play the piano. I have had the opportunity to see her play the piano on facebook. Good job Kami...I hope you have many more birthdays.

Another Birthday

Happy 2nd Birthday to Little Miss Ella Crooker. Enjoy your day.

Opening Gifts

I saw the Wren Family carries on a tradition of letting the youngsters open presents each of the 5 days before Christmas. That is a great idea. We always opened our gifts Christmas Eve, as our Mom didn't want all the paper, gifts, and all that went with it, trying to get her Christmas Dinner on the table. My boys all got to open something, they hoped a toy, before Christmas Eve, as they just couldn't wait any longer. What nice Memories after all these years. May you all be thinking, and waiting patiently for Christmas Day.
