I had to get the laptop fixed, and I couldn't figure out Cody's tablet. These modern devices get the best of me. I will be the first to admit it.

Meeting

I attended the Post 14 Legion supper where the men cook for the Ladies Auxiliary. Nice. Veronica Rokosny had invited the Girl State Girls from last year, and one from this year planning to attend Husson Girls State Session in June. It was a nice presentation, and the teacher from Lawrence H. S. came as well. I actually forgot my own Aux. meeting same night. I belong to too many groups.

Celebration of Life/ Birthday

A nice crowd of family and friends attended the Freedom Grange Hall to celebrate Arthena " Tena ", Ma Keller's life today. She had a wonderful presentation of pictures by Lori Grant. It was so nice to see all the photos. I remember I loaned Tena and Red my Reindeer and sleigh I had given to me for a pattern so they could make some, and they did. They were the cutest Christmas ornaments to display. It was in the late 80's, and I still have mine. Tena remarked she loved it. Several people spoke and it was a great tribute to a wonderful lady. Rest In Peace Tena.,and play that cribbage.

Birthday Celebration

Updates

Please check back on my news as I often make updates when people call me and add on news here for you.

Phone Call

I received a phone call today from Aunt Elsie Harris in Norwood, Mass. wondering how I was doing since my back surgery. I am feeling good now. Thanks for the cards and phone calls everyone.

Until next week,

Yes, enjoy all the sunshine we have been having. It sure seems good to look out the window and see the snow disappearing fast.  After the long winter I hope Spring has finally sprung. Now if only I could talk to those plow guys to come and rake all the sand off the lawn I would be happy. I am not supposed to be doing much for awhile yet. Gabe comes for his school visit next week end. Guess I know what I will have him doing. I can't wait to see him as he has been worried about me having surgery. Gabe really loves his Grammie too.

Old Friend

My old friend Chet Wooldridge of Plymouth passed away on April 2nd. He had been in and out of Togus VA and the hospital.  His daughters, and son have always kept in touch. His sister Roberta as well. They all live in Massachusetts. His brother Almon recently died too. Sympathy to the family. We keep in touch through Facebook.

Meeting New Folks

I got to meet Janelle Keller from San Clemente, Calif. and Mamie Keller today. What wonderful young ladies.  Janelle met my nephew Dino Drew in Calif. who I have been trying to locate for a while now. Thanks Janelle for the picture she had taken.
