Cemetery Mowing Contract- News from the Clerk

For those that have asked, Gilbert Williams of Freedom will be mowing the Pleasant Hill Cemetery this season. He has plenty of time to work there, as he is retired. Good luck to him. It is a big Cemetery, and a lovely place. We are in the process of having some of the big maples taken down that are all rotten, and need to be replaced soon. We hope to do that starting next month. We are also doing an Italian Feast Public Supper next month June 14th, place to be announced. This benefit will be to help us to purchase a Granite Stone for the Cemetery to have installed with the cemetery name on it. We need a sign. Please try to attend the supper as it will be held in Freedom. Kim Holmes is in charge. Just think how nice a sign will look for our Cemetery. We have recently sent out a newsletter to Lot Owners, and relatives.

Pink Ladies, Cancer Survivor's Luncheon

The Cancer Survivor's  met at Liz Sullivan's home for their 3rd  Annual Pink Ladies get together. The guest speaker, it was " Birdie ", The Marden's  Lady, she is a stand up comic. Now I bet she was a hoot. From all I read and saw pictures on Facebook I know everyone had a wonderful time. So nice of Liz and her helpers to do this. About 35 attended. May all you ladies stay well.

Cub Scouts

The local Cub Scouts along with the Braley's and Cullivan's and others, made Blue Bird Houses and put them up. This was a project at the Sebasticook Regional Land Trust Building in Unity. Congrats boys for your hard work. This is a wonderful project.
