Another Week has gone by
The time seems to just fly right on by. Just last weekend I was spending my time with the Auxiliary Ladies in Bangor for the A.L.A. Convention. It was a nice time. The Raffles were supported by many. Thanks one and all.

At Montville Kingdom Schoolhouse June 27th at 7 pm. Matt Wheeler from Penobscot Marine Museum will be showing A Postcard View of Montville places, and other towns as well. RSU Summer Meal Program Mount View
For those that are interested there will be Breakfasts served 7:30-8:30 am Free for Kids 18 and under, Adults $2.00, and Lunch served 11:30-12:30 am Free for Kids 18 and under Adults $3.50. More info Alison at 568-4607. This is a good program.

School Is Out
Beware the children are out of school for the summer. They will be riding bikes, walking, etc. so please be careful of them as they will be excited now for their Vacation.
I had a phone call from my Aunt Elsie Harris, ( she is 92 years young ) hard to believe. She was pleased she had talked to her nephew, Carleton Stewart, Jr. in Florida. Carl never did have his back surgery as he went into cardiac arrest three times. I hope you are feeling better, and can get back on track. That was scary. Prayers were answered for you. Love and Get Well Wishes from your Maine cousins and family.
Well I hear it is Summer already, but it is chilly this morning as I write this. The Sun is out so it will warm up.
The Horse Pulling Events will be held at Clayton Larrabee's this July 4th. Weigh-In 7-9 am 10:15 am 2 # Rock, will split if enough horses. A Game Horse Show at the ring, Pig Scramble for the Kiddos. 11:30 am Ermal aka as John Wayne, and Paula, America's Yodeling Sweetheart. And can she Yodel !!! Open Concessions for all kinds of goodies to eat. Chicken BBQ at 12 Noon. 4 pm Cow Chip Bingo...Call Clayton Larrabee for info 568-3475. More events as well. See ya all there !!!
I see Beet Greens, and Spinach available already, but I never made it to get some. Soon the Strawberries will be ready for picking.

Priscilla Pagliaroli and Addison Duong of Unity are the proud parents of twin sons born today, June 20th. Ayden Cavlion Duong weighed 4 lbs. 14 oz. and Eli Thomas Duong weighed 4 lbs. 12 oz. Both were 18 inches long. They have all kinds of relatives to Welcome the babies home soon. Congratulations to the Happy Couple.

Our thoughts are with Fred and Cassandra Thompson of town who were injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday evening in Thorndike. They are both in the hospital with injuries. She has head injuries, and has had surgery. He has a badly injured leg that will require surgery. We hope you both Get Well soon. Many people are thinking of you. There is a Benefit being planned for July 26th for them at Bowen's Place in Waldo. They will certainly need financial help. Also on Facebook there is a Fund set up to donate to help this young couple. Keep them both in your prayers.
Benefit Was A Success
There was a big crowd that attended the Benefit for Tanya Hubbard on Sunday. Many Thanks to Julie, Beth and anyone else that helped. They had many prizes for the Raffle, and the Pie Auction too,, Thanks to those that supported the Raffle. Everyone coming together to help a wonderful lady.My two grandsons won prizes from the Raffle. My phone never rang...sigh !!!
Raven's will be opening very soon, and hopefully this weekend. Call them for info...Fresh berries, yum !!!
Our condolences to the family of Blaine Littlefield who passed recently. Thinking of his wife Norma, and his family. When I think of Blaine, I always thought of the Apple Orchard.Rest In Peace.
