FUTURE RSU # 3 Golf Tournament
The 11th Annual Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 6th at Country View Golf Course in Brooks. $55. per person, or Team $220. This is to benefit the current project for a new Athletic Field Building. You can sponsor a Hole, or donate prizes to be won. Kathy Cunningham is on the Board, and you may get info from her. A building is greatly needed to provide bathrooms for use among other things. This is very important that they get support for this project. Thanks !
Visiting Here With Me/ Ice Challenge
The Doughty gang has been here again. Gabe, Sara, Katie and David. They all decided to do the ALS Assoc. Ice Water Bucket Challenge. Ice Water dumped down over your head, and video-taped. Then you challenge others to do this. You are to send at least a $10.00 donation, or if someone does not do it, they are to donate $100.00 instead. They all did this, and oh boy....My turn is coming next. What I don't get myself into. It is fun, and helps to fund the ALS. Assoc., to rid this terrible disease. So come on folks, take the Challenge soon. You will still be laughing after you grab a towel, and run for the house because the Ice Water gets your attention in a hurry. . HaHa..We have seen many video's posted on Facebook. For the link go to alsa.org/donate.Thanks!
Frye Mt. Horse and Wagon Tour
Make sure to get in contact with Barbara Bouley if you plan to go on the ride. This is next month. Plan ahead and join in with the folks of Montville Historical Society that offer this tour. Elmin is waiting to see you. There will be several horse and wagon teams. It is a fun tour. Learn some history about the old homesteads and people who lived there. I am very fortunate to have had the Walker and Stewart descendents that lived on the Mountain. We have many relatives. My grandmother, Christine Walker Stewart was one of 16 siblings. If you have old photos, please share them with us. We would like copies.
There is not very much to report today.
Until Next Week,
Have a grand week. The gardens are looking good. The rain was much needed. Get out and enjoy our nice weather. I have noticed the leaves are slowly turning colors already. School will soon be open. Some schools are already in session. Enjoy what nice days we have left of summer.
Some folks will be attending Unity Raceway this weekend. Come see Nick.

Thanks !!
