Our condolences to the family of Phillip McCue of Bangor. He passed away Sept. 17. His grandparents are Robert and June Gardiner of Unity and he is the son of Michael and Patricia McCue of Jackson.
Grange notes
Waldo Pomona Grange#12 will host a turkey supper and all the trimmings on Sept. 29 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Knox Station grange. The public is invited.

Knox Station will host a public turkey supper Oct. 20 from 4:30-6 p.m.. This will be the last supper for the season. Come join us!

Hattie Moulton celebrated her birthday Sept. 20. Also, belated happy birthday to Gerald Davidson of Montville, whose birthday was Sept. 20.

Cemetery meeting
The Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association will hold its Bi-Annual meeting Oct. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Freedom Congregational Church for lot owners or representatives.

The Frye Mountain Tour for Sept. 30 has been fully booked. Should be a great ride back through old times with info from Montville Historical Society.

On Sept. 30 at 9 a.m. there will be a game horse show at the Joy Valley Riders.

Jody Cushman of Searsmont, Dennessa Hildings of Rockland and Rita Doughty attended the LaFemmes Cabane #308 in Augusta last Wednesday.
American Legion Conference
On Sept. 14, 15, & 16 several folks attended the American Legion and Auxiliary fall conference in Millinocket. I attended from Unit 50 in Unity.
