The Liberty Tool Company is the most famous branch of the Jonesport Wood company, which specializes in the sale of old tools, antiques, antiquarian books, paintings, and prints. Our primary mission is the search for and recovery of usable woodworking tools for reuse as well as for the collections of the Davistown Museum.

We have three outlets:
The Liberty Tool Company in Liberty, Maine: Open 9 AM to 5 PM every day except Tuesday, opens an hour early on Saturdays.

Captain Tinkham's Emporium in Searsport, Maine: Open Saturday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM; and Sunday, 11 AM to 4 PM. Directly adjacent to the Davistown Museum History Information Center, which has the same hours.

The Hulls Cove Tool Barn in Hulls Cove, Maine: Open Wednesday through Sunday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Directly adjacent to the splendid Davistown Museum sculpture garden and Acadia National Park.

We are always buying woodworking, machinist, mechanic, and blacksmithing tools such as steel planes, chisels, gouges, spoke shaves, draw knives, bar clamps, calipers, hammers, ratchets, bench vises, anvils, tongs, wooden toolboxes, etc. If you have tools to sell, please call: 1-888-207-4005 and leave your name, number, and what you have to sell.
