Lincolnville boy celebrates 12th birthday on unique date
Lincolnville — Justin Secotte of Lincolnville was born on Dec. 12, 2000, he is among a group of young people who will celebrate their 12th birthday on a unique date: Dec. 12, 2012, or 12/12/12.
The date is unique because it is the last repeating date to occur during this century. The next repeating date will occur Jan. 1, 2101.
Secotte is in sixth-grade at Lincolnville Central School. The young athlete plays little league baseball, basketball and loves to ski, according to his mother Karen Secotte, who is assistant town clerk at Lincolnville Town Office.

She wrote that Justin aspires to become a mechanical engineer. He lives in Lincolnville with his mother and his father, Stuart Secotte.
