Lions fall to Windjammers in opening court cases
The Belfast boys and girls tennis squads opened the 2014 regular season with a tall order in front of them in talented Camden Hills, perennially one of the top teams in Eastern Class B.
Both Lion teams came up short as the Belfast boys fell 5-0 in Belfast, while the Belfast girls lost 4-1 in Rockport.

Camden Hills 5, Belfast 0
At Belfast April 28, the Windjammers had no trouble with the host Lions and sailed to victory in the season-opening match for both teams. The teams played pro sets in Monday's match.
The iIndividual results, with Camden Hills players listed first, were: In singles, Austin Pohlman beat David Flood, 8-1; Alex Forcillo beat Logan Mitchell, 8-3; and Shawn Albertson beat Asa Lewis, 8-5.
In doubles, James Annis and Josiah Simko beat Tanner Luther and Ben Flood, 6-3; and Colby Arau and Josh Pitcairn beat Eduardo DeSaPinto and Gustavo Mendezz, 8-0.
Camden Hills 4, Belfast 1
At Rockport April 28, the Windjammers picked up their first win of the campaign, besting the visiting Lions.
The individual results, with Camden Hills players listed first, were: In singles, Abby Blakeley beat Ashley Keene, 6-0, 6-0; Katie Vannorsdall beat Amalia Kockerols, 6-0, 6-2; and Hanna Olsen beat Lacey Durkee, 6-1, 6-1.
In doubles, Serene Landry and Sophia Landry lost to Mackenzie Moore and Lucie Bonneville, 4-6, 6-1, 2-6; and Lila Ohland and Ellie Pendleton beat Hannah Green and Catey McGinn, 7-6, 4-6, 6-3.
