Live Nativity Dec. 13 in Belfast

The Greater Bay Area Ministerium churches present an outdoor Live Nativity every year in Belfast.

Belfast — The ninth annual Live Nativity, sponsored by the Greater Bay Area Ministerium churches, will take place Friday, Dec. 13, at 5 p.m. on the front lawn of the First Church UCC, 104 Church St. All are welcome.

People are invited to gather along the street to watch Mary, Joseph and their baby, along with the shepherds, magi and angels, arrive at the stable. Traditional carols will be sung as portions of scripture are read. Then all are invited to go into the church for a time of carol singing and special music performed by local church groups including the Belfast United Methodist Bell Choir.

The evening will end with refreshments in the church parlor and a time to visit with one another and share the joy of the season. For more information, contact the First Church office at 338-2282 or visit firstchurchinbelfast.org.
