Local book on alien invasion
Lincolnville — Local author Henry Eaton has released his debut novel, "Siege of Ardon," a science fiction story set on a distant Earth-type planet inhabited by a diverse and advanced human culture.
The people of Ardonnar have enjoyed hundreds of years of peace when their world comes crashing down around them. Because of a sneak attack by an alien race they knew nothing about, the Ardonnarians now find themselves struggling for the right to survive against the fierce and advanced invaders from another star system. They have one shot at saving their planet but it relies on untested technology and poorly trained fighters who must take the fight to the Ineans across the expanse of space.
Eaton is a freelance writer specializing in science fiction, in which he took an interest at an early age beginning with the original "Star Trek" and "Lost in Space" television programs. His interest expanded into the writings of Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke and many others over the years. His writing incorporates elements from current world events, current scientific advancements and a realistic view of the future based on scientific trends.
