Magic at the library
Belfast — Norman Ng will bring his distinctive brand of magic to Belfast Free Library, 106 High St., Wednesday, July 16, at 7 p.m. Children are invited to the library’s Abbott Room the day before, Tuesday, July 15, at 10:30 a.m. to make magician’s hats.
Ng has performed throughout the United States for more than 21 years. His performances stretch from the New York Hilton to the Magic Castle in California, as well as hundreds of college campuses, fairs, festivals, theaters and corporate events nationwide.
Ng is known for bringing a fresh and dynamic energy to his shows. He views his show as a conversation with an audience rather than a performance; he involves the audience in intriguing ways and persuades them to react in ways they never thought they could.
Ng also has gained national recognition in the magic community. He has performed with and for some of the greatest magicians in the world and has won numerous national and international magic awards. In 2011, he was named America’s Best Variety Act by Campus Activities Magazine.
The performance and activity are free and open to the public. For more information, contact the library at 338-3884, ext. 24.
