The Maine Conservation Corps (MCC) recently welcomed Carl Keicher of Stockton Springs to serve as an assistant team leader and AmeriCorps volunteer for the summer season. Keicher is the son of Faith Campbell, also of Stockton Springs. The MCC conducts conservation projects throughout the state of Maine, including extensive recreational trail construction and rehabilitation.

Keicher is a 2002 graduate of Searsport High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine at Machias, where he studied recreation management. Keicher has served five previous seasons with the MCC, and this season he will once again serve on a crew of three to seven members and undertake several trails projects across the state of Maine.
