Trooper Desiree Wuthenow received a report of a burglary on Swan Lake Avenue in Swanville. The complainant arrived home to find their residence was broken into and multiple items, including prescription medications, stolen. The theft is still under investigation.
Trooper Benjamin Sweeney stopped a blue sedan on North Palermo Road in Palermo for going 77 mph in a 45 mph zone. The driver, Robert Sears, 21, of South China, was summoned for criminal speed.
Trooper Wuthenow stopped a vehicle for a speeding violation on Route 3 in Palermo. An investigation with other officers determined Caitlin Trafton, 26, was in possession of a useable amount of marijuana. Trafton was summoned for the offense and for the speeding violation.
Trooper Jeremiah Wesbrock responded to a family fight on Curtis Road in Swanville. Timothy Hanscom, 32, was arrested for domestic assault.
Trooper Wesbrock stopped a vehicle on Route 1 in Winterport for having expired tags. Jess Ingraham, 24, of Brooklin, was charged with failure to register a motor vehicle greater than 150 days.
Trooper Sweeney stopped an SUV on Route 1 in Belfast for a seat belt violation. The passenger, Jeffrey Warren, 32, of Orland, had 10 warrants for his arrest. After arresting Warren, Sweeney discovered he had a useable amount of marijuana in his possession. Warren was taken to Waldo County Jail on the warrants and was also charged with possession of marijuana.
Trooper Sweeney received a report of a theft in Swanville. The victim reported someone had taken his four wheeler and crashed it. The complainant also said a large number of power tools and hunting gear was also stolen. The theft is still under investigation.
