Maine State Police blotter
Augusta — Law enforcement officials with Troop D of the Maine State Police responded to the following incidents in Waldo County between July 2 and July 7. Anyone with information regarding ongoing investigations is asked to call 800-452-4664.
Trooper Evan Teel stopped Fred Rogers, 38, of Unity for a seat belt violation. He was summoned for possession of a usable amount of marijuana.
Troopers responded to Burnham for a domestic dispute between a mother and son. No crime was committed.
Trooper Don Webber summoned Shara Allen, 22, of Unity for operating after suspension.
Trooper Benjamin Sweeney charged Jason Cote, 22, originally of Jackson, with fraud, theft and driving after suspension in connection with an April 14 theft case in Brooks.
Police responded to the Pit Stop Store in Unity for a report of theft of gasoline. The brother of the driver said he would pay for the gas so his brother could avoid charges.
Trooper Bethany Robinson arrested Cynthia Shorey, 54, of Jackson for unlawful possession of Schedule W and Schedule Z drugs.
Police stopped Alan Privee, 40, of Spruce Pine, N.C., on Route 1 in Lincolnville for loud exhaust noise. Privee was summoned for operating after suspension.
Trooper Bethany Robinson stopped Adam Smith, 30, of Derry, N.H., for traveling 88 mph in a 45 mph zone in Belmont. Smith was arrested and summoned for criminal speed and operating under the influence.
Police stopped Kyle Walton, 27, of Saco for speeding on High Street in Belfast. Walton was summoned for operating under the influence.
