Maine State Police blotter
Augusta — Law enforcement officials with Troop D of the Maine State Police responded to the following incidents in Waldo County between July 15 and July 22. Anyone with information regarding ongoing investigations is asked to call 1-800-452-4664.
Trooper Corey Smith received a phone harassment complaint from residents of Belmont and Unity alleging that a woman from Searsport was harassing them. A harassment notice was issued to the suspect.
David Morin, 30, was charged with domestic violence criminal mischief after police responded to Northport for a report of an intoxicated male who was out of control and breaking things.
Trooper Mark Ferreira received a burglary complaint in Liberty. The burglary is still under investigation.
Trooper Bethany Robinson located a male juvenile from Swanville and summoned him for burglary and criminal mischief following an investigation of a burglary that occurred July 14.
Nicholas Hart, 26, was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and criminal threatening, and Matthew Rankin, 26, was charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and possession of schedule Z drugs after police responded to Chapman Drive in Lincolnville for a reported assault.
Police charged Andrew Jewell, 47, with criminal trespass after responding to Woodmans Mill Road in Searsmont.
Trooper Evan Teel responded to Liberty for a report of a theft. Several items were taken from the residence, including a tractor, a snowmobile and tools. The theft is still under investigation.
