Several Midcoast high school teams were in action on the tennis court Wednesday, April 30, a scenario which provided a mixed bag of results for Oceanside, Camden Hills, Belfast and Medomak Valley squads.

Erskine Academy 3, Camden Hills 2
At South China April 30, the Windjammers (1-1) were nipped on the road against the host Eagles.
The individual results, with Camden Hills players listed first, were: In singles, Austin Pohlman beat Dominic Pizzo, 6-1, 6-2; Matt Morse lost to Richard Preston, 5-7, 7-6 (4), 6-7 (4); and Luke Burstein lost to Brandon Smith, 5-7, 2-6.
In doubles, James Annis and Josiah Simko lost to Cameron Grass and Jon Ballantyne, 4-6, 6-3, 4-6; and Colby Arau and Alex Forcillo beat Vince Wang and Brody Hodsdon, 6-2, 6-2.
Lincoln Academy 5, Medomak Valley 0
At Newcastle April 30, the Panthers (0-2) were downed in convincing fashion by the talented Eagles.

At Rockland April 30, the Mariners (2-0) had no trouble with the Black Raiders and picked up their second win of the campaign.

At Waterville April 30, the Lions (0-2) had their hands full with the Purple Panthers and were downed by the talented hosts.
