Maritime Energy is a locally owned and operated full service energy company serving Knox, Lincoln, Waldo, and part of Kennebec counties. Maritime Energy was founded in Rockland in 1939 by Roland G. Ware, father of present owner John Ware. Maritime's fuel products include heating oil, K-1, diesel, biodiesel, propane, and gasoline. Maritime Energy has a full service and professional service team to go along with a large fleet of vehicles all with 24 hour service. Maritime Energy operates nine, Maritime Farms convenience stores throughout Midcoast Maine.
