Sheffield Township, Ohio — Mary L. Romano (nee Kinsley), 73, of Sheffield Township, Ohio, passed away Monday, march 4, 2013, at the New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain, Ohio, following a brief illness.

She was born in Canton, Ohio, on July 14, 1939, and had been a longtime resident of Sheffield Township. Mary had worked in home health care for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo and lottery tickets, and working in her yard.

Survivors include her children, Lynn Mawson, Brad Romano, Scott Starcher and Charlene Monday; brothers Larry Kinsley of Belfast, who was her twin, and Harold Kinsley of North Canton, Ohio; and sisters Jane Redmond, of Akron, Ohio, and JoAnn Tanner of Parkersburg, W.Va.

She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Romano, and by her parents, Arnold and Catherine (nee Stuller) Kinsley; a brother, Howard P. Kinsley, formerly of Anchorage, Alaska; and a sister, Judy Zerbe, formerly of Canton, Ohio.

Calling hours, followed by a memorial service, will be Friday, March 8, at Wyers Funeral Chapel, Sheffield Township. Jim Monday will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain, Ohio.
