Belfast — Belfast Maskers/Cold Comfort Theater is joining with the downtown Eat More Cheese to offer an evening of gourmet cheese and wine, combined with marvelous entertainment by a 20-person chorus, singing and dancing to a potpourri of songs from classic Broadway musicals such as “Guys and Dolls," "Man of La Mancha," "Cabaret," "Fiddler on the Roof," "The Wizard of Oz" and more.

The $25 ticket price includes two glasses of wine, or sparkling water, a selection of cheeses and more than an hour of delightful entertainment, all in a park-like atmosphere as the Shrine Club will become a Tavern on the Green, including trees, shrubs and tables of eight, for four nights only.

Shows will be offering two weekends, Fridays and Saturdays, June 13, 14, 20 and 21, at 7 p.m. Reservations are strongly recommended; to reserve, call 930-7090.

Courier Publications’ A&E Editor Dagney C. Ernest can be reached at (207) 594-4401, ext. 115; or dernest@courierpublicationsllc.com.

The next generation of local performers also will be showcased at the Shrine Club. From left are Maggie Goscinski, Sarah Berry, Christian Stevens, Olivia Stevens, Autumn Stupca and Grant Richards. (Photo by: Tom Sadowski)
