Monroe Fire Department welcomes new tanker truck

Monroe — The Monroe Fire Department recently took delivery of a 2013 Metalfab tanker/pumper purchased through K&T Fire Equipment of Island Falls, Maine. The purchase of this truck was made possible through a Federal Emergency Management Agency Department of Homeland Security grant. This truck carries 3,000 gallons of water, has pumping capacity of 750 gallons of water per minute and compartment space for firefighting tools and accessories.
