Montville Town News
The Mount View High School gym was converted to a club cabaret last Tuesday evening (June 3rd) complete with chairs, tables and seniors formally dressed as waiters and waitresses, for a wonderful celebration of music. The music was superb, and at times seemed like it was sung by little angels. Moving indeed. The event was very well attended with people spilling over to the bleachers on either side of the gym. Hats off to the music teachers, Dawn Boden, Theo Van Deventer, Michael Venti, David Stevenson, and to all the talented musicians. You guys were awesome!
While we were enjoying the show it occurred to me that the school year had flown by, and that it was almost over! Yikes. Graduation Day for seniors at Mount View is June 7th. A bunch of song titles rush to my head; We've Only Just Begun, Rainbow Connection, Freebird… Congratulations Seniors! Have fun. Learn something. Be good.
