Montville Town News
After being shuttered for close to 30 years, the historic North Montville Baptist Church, on Halldale Road, is once again holding services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at 3pm. The church dates back to 1856 and according to some members, not much has changed. A perfect living time capsule complete with two wood-burning stoves, tin ceiling and a hundred-year-old pipe organ.
This Sunday July 6th will be a special patriotic service with Reverend Annie Borriginne conducting the sermon. There will be music, scripture and strawberry shortcake! Donations will be accepted to help repair the church's roof. For more information contact Elizabeth Fafard at 722-3626. All are welcome!
