Morning Glory Garden is pleased to announce their new home 45 Edgecomb Road in Belfast — the original farmhouse on the Belfast Cohousing and Ecovillage property. The Belfast-based preschool and kindergarten is still accepting enrollment for the 2013-14 school year.

Monday, Aug. 12, is an open house, from 10 a.m. to noon. Prospective students, enrolled students, and their families are all welcome. The open house features outdoor play, a craft project, and a puppet show based on a poem by Rose Foreman — "A Fairy Went a-Marketing.” Families can also meet Morning Glory teachers Jes Anthonis and Toki Oshima.

Jes has worked with children for a decade, including at Maine Waldorf Schools Merriconeag and Ashwood, and is currently a Lifeways student. Toki has a master's degree in Waldorf Early Childhood Education and taught at Ashwood Waldorf School for 12 years. Both teachers also hold bachelor’s degrees in art, and they bring this aesthetic of beauty to their teaching practice.
