New animal control officer
Town meeting was a quiet affair this year with a little lower than usual turnout. The one big change was the election of a new animal control officer, Kelly McGray, of Waldo. Kelly will be serving both Waldo's and Morrill’s animal control needs now. If you have any issues, you can contact her at 342-2410. So, welcome, Kelly. We look forward to working with you.
I would also like to thank Sandra Peeler for her work as Morrill’s ACO. After working in the Town Office for the past year, I’ve come to realize that being the ACO can actually be one of the harder jobs here in Morrill. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes and, even though most people wouldn’t, Sandra always had a great attitude about all of it.
