MPA offers free internet streaming of quarterfinal playoffs

Those who cannot attend regional high school quarterfinal boys and girls tournament games in the coming days, thanks to the Maine Principals' Association, will have another option.

The MPA has announced that, after entering into a partnership with three other entities, as a public service, live audio and video internet streaming of all quarterfinal tournament games in Bangor, Augusta and Portland will be available online at whoufm.com.

Upcoming games of interest for Midcoast hoop fans include:

• No. 6 Belfast girls (14-5) versus No. 3 Nokomis of Newport (16-2), Friday, Feb. 15, 5 p.m. (Bangor Auditorium).

• No. 7 Camden Hills girls (13-6) versus No. 2 Oceanside (16-2), Friday, Feb. 15, 6:30 p.m. (Bangor Auditorium).

• No. 5 North Haven boys (14-3) versus No. 4 A.R. Gould of South Porland (11-7), Saturday, Feb. 16, 11:30 a.m. (Augusta Civic Center).

• No. 8 Camden Hills boys (13-6) versus No. 1 Medomak Valley (16-2), Saturday, Feb. 16, 4:30 p.m. (Bangor Auditorium).

• No. 8 Islesboro girls (9-10) versus No. 1 Rangeley (17-1), Monday, Feb. 18, 11:30 a.m. (Augusta Civic Center).
