Knox — Unity majors soccer team, the 2012 division champions. On Oct. 20, the town of Knox held a youth soccer tournament with six participating teams. Unity was victorious over Troy. The final game went into two five-minute overtimes and two sets of penalty kicks before the outcome was decided. Unity was comprised of 19 children ranging from third through sixth grades. The inclement weather — and rain-soaked, muddy field — added to the hype of the win. “A great end to a great season. A season that most kids involoved will not soon forget,” said Unity coach Robin Coffin. The team, pictured above, includes, front from left, Ethan Babcock, D.J.
