New Vaudeville takes on the holidays

Belfast — Everyone is invited to juke, jive and get a belly full of laughs just in time for the holidays at the annual Christmas hootenanny with The New Vaudeville Revue, Waldo County’s homegrown variety show, Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Troy Howard Middle School, 173 Lincolnville Ave./Route 52.

Hosted by Ando Anderson, the show includes usual suspects Jenny Tibbetts and Kristen Burkholder plus mask actor Beverly Mann and Belfast Area High School sophomore Kieran Shell. Special guests include singer/songwriter Mia Mantello and poet of the month Elizabeth Tibbetts. The New Vaudeville Revue House Band features Phil Clement on guitar, Max McFarland on bass and Jeff Densmore on drums. This show is filmed live for Belfast Community Television by Ned Lightner and crew.

Tickets are $12, on sale in advance at Åarhus Gallery, 50 Main St., and also at the door beginning 6:30 p.m. For more information, call 322-7123.
