Now is the time to register for summer college courses

Belfast — Some live (on-site) summer classes are still available at the UMaine Hutchinson Center:

BIO100 — Basic Biology and Lab, CHY122 — Molecular Chemistry with Lab, CSD101 — American Sign Language, EAD560 — Functions and Theories of Educational Leadership, EDT 522 — Methods of Teaching with Computer Technology, EDT580 — Instructional Technology Institute, ENG101 — College Composition, ENG280 — Introduction to Film, ERL534 — Literacy and Language Development, INT188 — Introduction to Science and Career Exploration (special program), SMS110 — Oceanography and Lab.

There will be three small math classes, including:

MAT101 —The Nature and Language of Math

MAT122 — Pre-Calculus

MAT126 — Calculus

There are two psychology courses to choose from:

PSY100 — General Psychology and PSY470 — History and Systems in Psychology.

The Hutchinson Center is offering a one week Peace and Reconciliation course for professional development, college credit or career enhancement:

PAX 495 — Sustainable Communication: Theory and Practice of Nonviolent Communication from July 29 to Aug. 2.
