“A Prayer of Eventide” is a watercolor by Linden O’Ryan of Thomaston, whose work is featured this month at Belfast Free Library.

Belfast — For the month of May, Linden O’Ryan is exhibiting watercolors in the Kramer Gallery of Belfast Free Library, 106 High St. The exhibit, titled “Journeys with Paint + Gratitude,” offers a selection of her colorful and fluid Maine landscapes and other nature-inspired works that often are enhanced with the artist’s original writings.

The focus of her watercolors involves nature and her passion for movement and color, said O’Ryan, who has her studio in Thomaston.

“The feelings range from magical and whimsical, to spiritual and reverent in relationship to the human condition,” she said. “My paintings often feature Maine-inspired landscapes and original poems.”

The Kramer Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Belfast Free Library and is open during library hours. For more information, call 338-3884, ext. 10.
