Searsport — Everyone is invited to beat the winter blues by browsing locally made, quality one-of-a-kind items at the Searsport Art Market Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lions Clubhouse on Prospect Street. Suggested donation of $1 will be donated to help support local cancer patients with their medical bills while they undergo treatment.

The Searsport Art Market will offer the work of 24 talented Maine amateur and professional artisans including original paintings by Silhouette Arts; beaded jewelry from KB Collections; sophisticated semi-precious jewelry and metal work designs by Sweet Sincerity; original handmade lamp work glass beads by Blueberry Bay Beads; organic goat’s milk soap and mosaic eggshell jewelry by Lally Broch Farms; haute couture doll fashions by Cherrie Creations; and more.

The first 100 shoppers through the door will receive goody bags with free samples and special offers, and there will be free additional chances to win prizes from some of the vendors. For more information or to rent a vendor spot, contact Sonja Twombly at 323-4982.
