Belfast — Cold Comfort Theater will present Maine playwright John Cariani's romantic comedy “Almost, Maine,” directed by Aynne Ames, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.; and Sunday at 3 p.m., April 28 through 30, at the First Baptist Church, 95 High St.

The award-winning "Almost, Maine" is composed of nine short plays that explore love and loss in many comical and serious ways. Set in a remote, mythical place in Aroostook County, this series of light-hearted vignettes promises to uplift local audiences.

Tickets are $15, $10 for students. They may be purchased at Left Bank Books, 109 High St., or at the door. For more information, visit coldcomforttheater.com or call 930-7244.

Cold Comfort Theater has changed the time of its First Sunday monthly board meetings from 4 to 5 p.m. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings, which are usually held at the classroom of Waldo County General Hospital’s Ludwig Building.
