Pen Bay Medical Center's Anticoagulation Clinic Celebrates 5th Year Anniversary
The Anticoagulation Clinic at Pen Bay Medical Center celebrates its fifth year anniversary this year.
Please join Pen Bay staff on Monday November 5 from 3-5 p.m. at Pen Bay Medical Center to celebrate this fifth anniversary and have the opportunity to meet our medical director, Dr. Robert Stein and the clinic staff. Refreshments will be served.
Five years ago, the Anticoagulation Clinic was implemented at Pen Bay Medical Center and has grown to a comprehensive anticoagulation management service including ambulatory clinics, inpatient coverage, long term and skilled care, home care and satellite clinics at Waldoboro Family Medicine and Quarry Hill in Camden. The Clinic services over 13,000 patients in the ambulatory clinics and provides anticoagulation management for over eight hundred patients. Anticoagulation management is provided for all patients within Pen Bay Healthcare's entities including Pen Bay Medical Center, Quarry Hill, Kno-Wal-Lin Home and Hospice Care and the Knox Center for Long Term Care.
Medical direction for anticoagulation care is provided by Dr. Robert Stein and all staff are registered professional nurses who are certified in Anticoagulation Management from the University of Southern Indiana.
