Poetry & Spoken Word at Bell The Cat

Belfast — Former Belfast Poet Laureate Jacob Fricke will guest host the July edition of the bi-monthly open Poetry & Spoken Word Reading in Bell The Cat's performance space Friday evening, July 18. Sign-up, chat, snack and sip at 6:30 p.m. are followed by the reading at 7 p.m.

There are a poets table, a great group and a fine time in store. Participants may read their own work or recite favorite poets' work; bring poems or spoken word works to read, recite or to work on; and an instrument, if you play one, or a musician to accompany poetry, if desired.

Poets, poetry fans, slammers, jammers performance artists, students, teachers and cahoots are invited to get their jam on. Bell The Cat, offering a full line of food and drink, is at 15G Starrett Drive. For more information, contact Fricke at at belfastpoetry@gmail.com.
