At the Community Club meeting last night, the 19th. we decided to start collecting returnable bottles and cans for the Prospect Concerns Heating Fund. Within the next 2 weeks, there will be a container to be put by either the ramp at the dining room or out back of the Town Hall for people to place the bottles and cans and then they will be taken over to Bucksport Redemption Center and they will earmark them for the Fund. If you want to drop some off over there, please tell them they are for the Heating Fund. We did this before for the Vinyl Fund and that way it doesn’t require an amount of money out of pocket but helps you get rid of your returnable’s while helping The Heating Fund here in Town.

We have seen several birds at our feeders lately that seem to be far away from their regular habitat. They must be migrating to their homes but the Chipmunks are happy as the birds have spilled a lot of seed out of the feeders onto the deck. I gave up trying to trap them after that little” bugga” went out through the side of the trap. Have never seen that before but don’t want them to do that in the trunk of my car when I am transporting them to their new home.
I want to wish you all a safe and healthy week and please remember those that need a card or a prayer. God Bless You all.
