Puppet Pals in Belfast
Belfast — Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals will perform Wednesday, July 30, at 7 p.m. at the Belfast Free Library, 106 High St. The show, ideal for children age 3 to 8, is free and open to the public.
Year-round, Lindsay Bezich brings her Puppet Pals, lovingly crafted, giant hand puppets and marionettes, to child and family audiences across New England. Filled with silliness, crowd participation and memorable characters, her series of charming and positive short stories will delight both the young and the young at heart.
Bezich's comedic animation and timing, high energy and uncanny knack for silly voices electrify young crowds (and her mastery of gentle crowd control reins them in). She believes the visual and interactive nature of puppetry can access the imaginations of even the youngest children. In so doing, she hopes to inspire creative play and, through thoughtful storytelling, encourage self-confidence and kindness. She also feels the experience of shared joy and laughter can strengthen community.
