"Textures, Textures, Everywhere," a felt and mixed media piece, is the title work in Sandi Cirillo’s show at Belfast Free Library.

Belfast — "Textures, Textures, Everywhere," an exhibit by felt and mixed media artist Sandi Cirillo, is on display for the month of December in the Kramer Gallery of Belfast Free Library, 106 High St.

“When creating a piece of felted artwork, I incorporate other fiber processes such as papermaking in the final piece to create one-of-a–kind mixed media pieces,” said Cirillo of her work.

Cirillo creates beautifully textured landscapes and abstracts. She is a retired art educator who lives in Searsport and has been a fiber artist for more than 20 years. Her passion is working with natural and manmade textural materials.

Cirillo also teaches many fiber arts workshops in Maine throughout the Northeast and enjoys introducing adults and children to the joys of fiber art. For more information about the artist, visit especially-for-ewe.com.
