RMC Says Thanks to Veterans with Free Beef Stew Dinner
To all our Veterans who have served and are currntly serving now, the members of the Rockport Masonic Center say Thank You!
The freedom we have now as Americans is the result of our Veterans. The Veterans of the Revolutionary War gave us our country. Out of the Civil War came a united nation and slavery was abolished.
The brave Veterans of World War I and World War II kept us from a world wrought with tyranny. The Veterans of Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan and those of several other conflicts, have and continue to protect us from daily threats.
We must never let future generations take for granted the freedoms we have today; we must never forget those freedoms were paid for with sacrifices borne by our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guard heroes.
From the Greatest Generation of Veterans to those returning from current combat, we owe a huge debt of gratitude. The members of RMC want to show our Veterans a bit of graititude by inviting them to the Rockport Masonic Center on November 9 from 4pm to 530pm for a free beef stew dinner. All Veterans are welcome to join with the members of the Masonic Center in saying thanks .
