VENICE, Fla. and CAMDEN — A graveside service for Robert John Wolf, 71, of Venice, Fla., and Camden will be held Thursday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at Sea View Cemetery in Rockport. Mr. Wolf passed away at his home in Florida on March 6, 2012, following a long illness.
Born in Newark, N.J., on Dec. 22, 1940, he was a graduate of St. Benedict's Preparatory School and the University of Dayton, and received his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Bob spent 23 years in the automotive industry, working for the Ford Motor Company in Export Supply Operations. He completed his career spending 17 years as a senior executive of MBNA America Bank, working both in Wilmington, Del., and Camden.
A car aficionado, Bob was a lifetime member of the Antique Automobile Association. He was a volunteer for the American Red Cross for many years, winning the Lamont DuPont Award for Exceptional Volunteer Service in 1999.
Bob enjoyed many years of retirement, spending time with family and friends. He loved to travel, doing so extensively throughout his business career and for pleasure.
Preceded in death by his daughter Jessica and his parents, Lucile and John Wolf, he is survived by his wife, Judy; daughter, Rachel of New York City; brother, Donald of Lithia, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Bob will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
